Do you sell a subscription box? Then the importnance of establishing comprehensive set of terms and conditions cannot be overstated. You need to set out what the customer is buying, when their products will be delivered, when payment will be taken, what happens if there is a missed delivery, cancellations, refunds, etc.
These Subscription Box Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) have been created specifically to cover the sale of goods either as a one-off purchase or on an on-going subscription basis. You can make this customisation.
The T&Cs cover the ordering process and are drafted on the assumption that payment will be taken online before the goods are shipped.
What's Covered in the T&Cs
- Allow for orders to be placed on a one-off or recurring basis;
- You elect the subscription to be sold as fixed term packages or ongoing until terminated;
- Restriction around customer reselling the products for commercial purposes;
- No responsibility for incorrectly placed orders;
- Nominated delivery dates and delivery windows, if applicable;
- Ability for customer to skip or pause a scheduled delivery;
- Ability to substitute products if they are unavailable;
- Statement that the products may vary from the images on the website;
- Ability to take fees weekly/monthly as per the subscription package;
- Right to vary subscription fees;
- Cancellation and Refund policy;
- Legal disclaimers;
- Limit on your liability (how much you can be sued for); and
- Termination
The T&Cs are drafted on the assumption that a privacy policy will also be housed on the website. If you require a privacy policy, check out our bundles and save.
